Good Evening.
I am new to this forum but have been a member on PUK for a while.
I had a lovely 5th gen lude 97 plate with only 72k on the clock.
Now it is sitting off the road and needing rebuilt due to a Fiat Punto.
Here are the pics just after the incident.

New headlight, grill, bonnet and new bumper would sort it out. Motegi lip looks in a good condition even after the crash.
Welcome to LG.

I will post up pics and ask questions, if you guys dont mind.
1. What do i do with the bar thats across the engine that has the VIN plate on it. Can that be straightened.
2. The black slam bar across the front, will that need replaced.
3. Also the frame that sits on the top of the slam bar. Can that be replaced as its quite smashed in.
thanks

I've seen a slam panel straightened before by using jacks and blocks of wood.
I think the other option is to weld a new one in.
I don't know how viable either of those options are though.

It is bent but I think it can be straightened out. I have seen worse crashed car repaired before.

straightening it out can be done but is hard to do watch the headlights are the right hight beam once you fit a new one

The slam panel is best replaced, it's only spot welded on and not too much effort to do, it should be swapped with the headlight mounting bits too, you should be able to get the entire front panel second hand pretty cheaply.
Replace the front bumper bar too, and little brackets, it'll be cheaper overall and everything will align better.

I really dont have time or money to build this back together. Any ideas of what are my best choices.
I would like to recoup some cash.
