So a bit of back story. Purchased the car about 8 months ago for the sum of £800 looking like this.
All was going well until about a month ago when i ran over something in the road which punctured the fuel tank. The car got tucked in the garage and i got a polo tdi for the work run and moving the kids around.
Couldnt decide whether to break it or keep it but ive come to the decision to fix it and use it as a dedicated track toy. Picked up a replacement fuel tank last weekend.
Plans are:
Remove as much weight as possible
2ws conversion
Meister r coilovers
Bucket seat and a smaller steering wheel
Possibly some poly bushs.
15 inch alloys with decent tyres
Some good pads
Ive got a day on track planned for 1st december my plan is just to get it running by then to give me a good base to work from

Cheers Gorgon
Not 15's tho they're 16's, 15's don't fit over the ATR brakes. Looking for £150 now if your interested;

There are a load of voucher codes about for meister at the moment giving £100 off, I haven't checked if any are on this site but OUTLAW worked when I was a click away from from some s coilovers last week. (I'm still building up the courage to buy them with the knowledge that if I do the wife will kill me)

What you need to do is get them delivered to work and get then fitted at a garage close to where you work, she doesn't need to know then

The perfect plan, I'll get my Dad to let me use his garage as I am currently hiding a set of front struts from my mum in my garage for him!
