Well, Ive never really bonded with the ATR after I bought her in December, so I was on the look out for a prelude.

I was hoping to get a JDM BB4 4th Gen.

However, a friend of mine text me the other day asking if I knew anyone who wanted to buy his car as the MOT is due at the end of the month and he has another car on the drive. He has no space on his drive and was going to scrap it.

To be honest its the best place a 5th gen could be,

But to make some more friends (as I dont have any), I decided to buy her and line my pockets with the profits.

Well £200 lighter and the car is in my possession.

After a good drive and full inspection, she is in pretty mint darn good condition and drives very well.

So instead of breaking her and having a virtually rust free car, there was no need to buy a 4th gen.

So I now have a 1999 5th Gen Motegi with H22a8.

Here are the pics:

A completely standard car, with which I can play with.

So Ive got a few plans.

This weekend is going to have a good going over, to ensure she will get through the MOT.

Full wet and dry compression test on the engine to ensure she is as healthy as she feels.

Once MOT'd I'll undertake a 2ws conversion and polybush the car.

Then it will be wheels and coilovers.

Im planning on giving the car a full detail inside and out once she has the MOT

I dont know what the paint name & code is for this car as i need to buy a touch up stick from Honda

Can anyone help?

I know where the code is, but the car is locked in the garage and want to order today.

Anyway, I'll keep people updated of progress, so roll-on my next project.

Bits will be selling soon for the ATR as she will be stripped, so keep your eyes peeled in the for sale section.

I still cant believe ive bought a cheese wedge :puke:

£200????? surely that's a typo?

I'm having a really hard time getting my head round prelude values..

Has it done star ship mileage?
