The dreaded ABS light has shown up..
So it came on after a day of heavy rain, the last time it came on was after I washed it..
Codes are..
51 - Motor lock
52 - Motor stuck on
81 - CPU
I’m guessing there’s a dry solder joint in the ABS module… to be continued..
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Car broke down on me tonight…
First the ABS light came on, then all the dash lights came on, then it all got dim and the needles went dead while driving like a flat battery, then I stopped it refused to re stat like a flat battery….
The battery felt to be getting stronger the longer I left it
I disconnected the ABS pump and valve body.. the car started.. no battery light just ABS light (and SRS light but that’s the aftermarket wheel).
It got just up the road and lights come on again so I thought I’d just risk it and see how far I get..
I got about 4km, nearly made it home
Then it properly died.. so I left it in a bus stop and ran home..
Got my mate to take me back about 30mins later with the battery off the accord.. to my surprise it started straight up …
The dash lights etc soon returned and I limped home just making it.. quick check of the battery voltage whilst running was about 7 volts.. switched the car off and battery voltage increased to about 11.3v and climbed slowly…
Then I decided bangers and mash and a cuppa was in need so I left it for a bit… I’ll look at it again later..

Almost certainly the alternator has died (most likely the regulator).
Batteries do recover some voltage over time immediately after the load is withdrawn, however try not to leave it flat for too long otherwise it can reduce the batteries capacity/performance.

I had literally just done a nice fresh oil and filter on it 10 mins before and this is how it repays me
I hope my white car curse has not began with this car too
