Hi All!
Ive been on here for 6 months or so now and i thought it was about time to start a profile thread!
Well, where to start...
I bought the lude back on the 24th of December 2012 (spoilet my self for christmas
) But this was not the first time i had looked at buying this exact lude! I had looked at getting it 3 years earlier off a guy some of you know off here (Jason is his name) but i backed out, as he wanted too much ££ for it!
Anyway, the lude as i got it was standard other then an alliminum intake pipe with cone filter and full jap speed exhaust + de-cat.... And the car only had 76522 miles on her when i got it! Plus the cam belt had been done at 74k with water pump and all other belts
Happy days! Anyway...
Pics of when i got her...

As you can see, it wasnt in the best condition on earth! Grandad rear seats.. grandad wood trim, del-sol front seats *they were awful) and the induction cone was more then buggered! So, work got started straight away!
First mod was coilovers. Only payed £110 for some tein basics delivered... they needed some work (well, alot of work actually!) so i got cracking on them!
This is what they were like the day i got them...

As you can see.... they were in a bad way! And these coilovers have been around some...
anyway, i got to work on them almost straight away. Bought 4 new adjusters from tein, also got new seals for 1 of the rears and 1 of the fronts (as they were well knackered) and stripped 2 of them right down, re-sealed the coilovers and with fresh oil too! Worked a treat for a while (the shock is too far gone now) but they are still holding up today.
some pictures of the new adjusters and the coilovers all sorted and looking half-decent.

So, then i fitted them... heres how it looked after i had done it.

So much better then the 4x4 it looked like previously
Then it was time to move onto the interior. I had just about enough of all the grandad crap and it was depressing to look at. So a poor type S that got broke, lost its interior
and made a UKDM car look oh so gorgeous inside

And then i got the carbon trims as well.....

Such an improvement its unreal! makes the car feel like a normal car, not an old biddys car now
also at the same time as the interior i got my type S intake and the rear strut bar from cebul

Awesome bit of kit from Cebul! so easy to fit as well
and it has stiffened the back up up some what also!
Next on the list was the 2WS conversion! What a ballache that was. Got the subframe and arms off 4thgenphil, then got new nuts for the arms and brand new camber bolts for them as well.
Then got the rear LCA poly bush's (which i thought was the bush's at least) and it turns out they were the rear trailing arm bush's! Doh!
So i go onto energy suspensions website and order the correct ones... waited ages to do the 2WS conversion (had the parts for at least 4 months) and then finally got it done!

Car now handles so much nicer. Be even better once its all set up correctly!
The last piece was to get the wheel sorted on the car. So the miss's payed for my type S wheels to be powdercoated for my birthday =D

Lovely job.
And that, is how the car sits at present.
Enjoy reading, there will be more updates soon as ive got a Carbon Spoiler coming off Si =D Can not wait to get that on!
