Right, few updates....

I decided to refresh the wheels and change the look whilst I was at it, changing from silver to bronze.

Wheels before:

Wheels after:

I finally got around to finishing off the engine and bits required whilst it was out of the car.

The engine was then ready to go in:

I think this is a thing.

So's this.

Chaos

Initial fitting of the engine with stock rad and battery location.

No way could I get it all to fit like that, so I reworked some of the bits.

I've refurbished the brakes ready for action.

And fitted the refurbished Tein Super Street suspension and wheels.

It's pretty much ready, I just need to fabricate a downpipe and then cross my fingers and turn the key...........................................

Just gone though the last year of your build its nice dude

300 - 350 is a very very realstic figure, your engine will take that sorta power with ease. what trim turbo are you going for ?

did you ever consider going for a electric power steering pump? i was very very close to installing a corsa c pump but would have had no real purpose on a track car thats rarely street driven.

Whats the score with the downpipe? 3"? will you make it yourself ? as i mentione din my build Gizfab can supply kits as such i ordered 7 tight 45 degree 3" stainless bends and 1 meter or stainless tube with 2 3" stainless flanges 2 O2 bungs and boom made a down pipe without fouling the sump or the sumbframe and using factory mounting point

good work non the less and thanks for thr base Map

4th gen shaft with ATR gear fitted:

Nice work figuring that out. How does the shaft cope with the different thickness gears? (looks like the 4g gear is about half the thickness of the atr one?)

Also... I am confused here...
A) how did you get such lovely patterns (with such a nice mix of sharp edges and fade)?
B) how comes the pattern is in B&W flat colour, but then it's blue and metallic? (pattern done in colour coat and then a coloured metallic lacquer???)
