Gear ratios have no effect of power since everything runs through the final drive. Changing the final drive has an effect on torque as a smaller or larger changes the rotational circumference so more revolutions per rpm or less.W1ggz wrote:Yep a increase of 15 over last year. But even then final drive changes don't show on dynos since its the wheels that transmit the power.
I'd say the chip has bought your mods together nicely.
However the power station dyno has showed funny results for me compared to other dynos especially the fly wheel power being high compared to wheel power.
But the cars seems to be spot on with what you have done. Nice work.
