w1ggz track lude return to Powerstation

Post by W1ggz » Thu Jun 20, 2013 10:03 am

As some of you are aware i recently purchased ammo's old lude project CBA with the intentions of turning it into a road legal track car and keep my other BB4 as my daily driver.
I picked the car up 2 weeks ago for £500 and im very happy with it drives really well and the bodywork is in better nick than my black one.
Ammo also chucked in a few parts he never got round to using and some standard 15's.
Ive got my first track day booked for the 5th July at Castle Coombe its an open pit lane day, i have never driven on a track before and im heading up with a mate of mine and some of his friends that go regulary to tack days. they are in 2 e46 330 and i think 2 mr2's we have a transporter with a trailer so the first to break down gets the trailer home
Heres how she stands when i bought her i did a bit of work on her in the last couple of days so ill get a few pics today to update

You'll love combe mate, wish I could join you. Just keep the session short. 15mins on track is like a gym session whilst doin math equations ha plus the car starts "goin off", brakes are fading, oils hot and tyres start to cook.

Have you got a incar camera?
236bhp and 170ft/lb stock

Good luck with the car. Like Pete says, keep the sessions short.

Nice one, yeah Combe is a great track but agree completely about taking it easy especially your first time. Can't wait to come out and join you with mine soon. :(

Looking forward to hearing how the car develops.

I recommend getting the tracking done for
Track use. A bit of toe out front & rear will
make a big difference.

Some people just can't make a showcar for the track
So they just buy two !
Well done mate, keep it up and turn it into a beast !
How are you gonna pay for two cars keeping them on the road ?
