Is there a particular order in which do make these modifications? I don't want to get things back to front and cause any damage.

Am sure that you need the car to be mapped as soon as you put the ATR inlet on. But I may be wrong ???

Just the normal manifold. So manifold, tb, then get it mapped in. Just removing the iab's will leave a slight flat spot. The cheapest route for mapping is a h tune p28 and get someone to map it. Up to £500 im paying. £350 for mapping £150 for ecu ready to go.

you can buy and fit any of these items anytime, no particular order, the only thing id say is if you fit a skunk2/ATR inlet, you will loose a little power until the remap, but the others you will gain a little before the remap but gain a lot after the remap :) especially when all fitted.

i would say getting a skunk2/ATR inlet manifold is worth it but not essential, so that's up to you bud.

not essential, but as i said you will loose power until you've had a remap with this.

i found it cheaper buying a combo from the US, i found a site that sold both, fitted the chip to the ecu and then posted it.
id have to compare prices on how much i saved rather than buying from somewhere like H-tune, but it may not be a massive saving tbf :? i cant remember.

Where would I go for a remap?
Are h tune a company that do this?
Is p28 the chip i need?
So I need a new ecu also?
Buying both from the US what would I search for?

Ok been on H-tune. They have the following I'm a little confused :
Hondata s300 v3 with p28 ecu for £539
Neptune rtp with moates demon p28 ecu for £525
H-tune socketed and chipped obd1 p28 vtec ecu for £158

Intake Air Bypass. basically your lude intake has butterflies controlling the air coming through it, whereas a skunk2 or ATR intake doesnt have these, freeing up more air and allowing more BHP gains. im sure a lude god would explain this better than me lol
c_doughty1 wrote:Where would I go for a remap? the tuning company of your choice, local or recommended, up to you on how much you want to spend, how far you want to travel and how much of a pro you want to have do the remap.
Are h tune a company that do this? h-tune (i think) just sell parts
Is p28 the chip i need? the chip is 1 chip for a H series ecu and will fit in a p28, p30 or p72
So I need a new ecu also? yes, a p28, p30 or p72
Buying both from the US what would I search for? ill try and find you a link

Neptune rtp with moates demon p28 ecu for £525 this is another option but tuning people/companies deal with tuning a Hondata far more commonly
H-tune socketed and chipped obd1 p28 vtec ecu for £158 this is simply a blank ecu like a p28, p30 or p72 with the old chip removed ready for something like a Hondata to be soldered onto the board
