So I finally picked up my lude 2 days ago, she is a great drive!!
I do have a few things to do tough:
She`s a little rugh so dropped by a bodyshop to inform about the costs to get that fixed (EU 550,-)
No radio so bought one yesterday (Pioneer DEH-4500BT), installed it and found out the rear speakers where pretty much dead :|
Lucky I have a proper set laying around so I'll be fitting those this evening 8-)
And I'm getting her to the honda dealer in a bit fore a complete check up (nervous!!)

Anyway, some pics:

8-)

I like that paint/interior colour combo. Same as the one Dino bought but was too far gone to repair.

Thanks bud! 8-)
Its a shame to see an elegant car like this go :(

Oh and the Honda dealer checked her and she came true the tests pretty good, the only points where:
A litle rust on top of the rear disks (no mot failure)
Some moisture in the right taillight
And the biggest issue was the exhaust, the cat doesn't do anything and there fore the gasses are above limit. Not that big of a problem since I was planning on going completely stainless, so I'll get that sorted first. 8-)

After I came back from the dealer I popt the new speakers in, the original covers did fit! Only problem, if the volume is turnt up the speakers ar banging against the covers :x
I'll be modifying these tomorrow :)

Hi Fons,
Nice to see you put your thread down here.

You could see it was a 2.0. Only 2.2s came with a 5 stud wheel. 2.0 just with a 4 stud wheel.

Have you got any plans with it ?
Where are you from in the Netherlands ?

Keep up mate !

Yeah I've got some plans
Nothing to crazy, just going to lower the car mount an accord rear lip add one of those air intakes in the bumper and stickerbomb something (haven't decided what yet but I think it's awesome). Engine wise; stainless steel from mani to tip, skunk2 throttle body and intake mani, different air filter and when everything is done she'll get a chip tune

Im located in Heerhugowaard near Alkmaar (noord-Holland)

Sound like a decent plan 8-)

Looks like yout trip to the dealer was a success. Not much to fix so more cash for modding

Exactly!!
Shopping around for some prices on the exhaust system now, pricey stuff but completely worth it!

I think I fixed the tail light problem, after removing the light unit I found out some botcher fitted the neoprene seal thingy upside down letting al the water run into the trunk and the light unit. The condensation is still in the unit but first I want to make sure the problem is fixed now

And I took a look at the speaker problem yesterday and turns out that the right speaker just wasn't mounted properly
There fore the speaker mounting frame was slamming up and down on the parcel shelf (very dramatic sound), I was in a hurry when I mounted them.

So that's fixed now and I can keep the original look with the speaker covers :)
The only thing that's buggin me right now is the complete shelf is resonating like a bloody snare drum in front of a 2kw sub woofer or something  , anybody here wanting to share some knowledge about this problem?

Is it the metal shelf or the cover that's vibrating?

Wasnt that the reason LLL used his old socks? Try that, or if it's the metal shelf and that doesn't work, you'll need to get some cld tiles to stick on the metal part
