Well, a bit of an update! all my parts have arrived, new radiator, which seems a bit light but looks well machined, and a rocker cover gasket set. friends uncles a local mechanic whos familiar with old accords and civics, has agreed to do the rad and gasket for £45 plus any oils/coolant, so im happy

The mats still havent come, they somehow got confused with what colour i ordered - as the pictures and colour names on the auction didnt match

Can someone give me a rundown on the differences between all the different H22A engine variations? gasket actually says its for a h22a5 engine, i cant seem to find if this is my engine code, or if thats going to fit ok?

so any help would be appreciated

Gasket should be fine so long as you have a H22 engine.

H22A5 is a 5G engine.

Yours should either be H22A or H22A2, I can't remember if yours is a UKDM or JDM.

The code is stamped on the engine itself, find the white gearbox sticker and look to the right of it and you should see the engine stamp.
