The TRD3000GT was a model based on there JGTC racing package. It was a one off for car enthusiasts, additional to their normal model line up. They basically took a standard model from the production line and added the following, wider rear arches, wider front wings, TRD Bilstein suspension, TRD split rim alloys 18x8" front 18x10" rears, TRD rear bumper, TRD front bumper and airdam, TRD rear wing, TRD carbon fibre bonnet and TRD side skirts. The only unfortunate part is that the original active front spoiler was removed to fit the TRD aero bumper and airdam, so I have the button on the dash for the front spoiler, but alas it does nothing
There is speculation that Toyota uprated some of the engine components to gain some additional power, but I've been unable to find any evidence of that on mine.
Having wanted a Supra ever since I first saw one, this one was like a dream come true, plus it was a very rare opportunity to own one. As far as I know there were only 3 TRD3000GT's in the UK, I'm not sure if any others have been imported
