Thanks for the welcome messages guys. Just been down to have a look at the car with its bumpers off and even though I was half expecting it, the sight of all the initially unseen rust has deefinitely put a downer on the day :( I'm not sure at the moment how much more they will uncover!? Anyhoo...fingers crossed hey.

Wow! Definitely gotta get mine steam cleaned! Shame about the rust :( But once it's done, you don't need to worry about it :)

True, but you should hopefully be able to forget about it for a while :)

:( So far no resurgence of the rust since I had the arches done, but there are other spots of rust around the place. Hopefully none of them are too bad. Taking the sills off in a weekend or two to spray them silver so I'll see just how bad they are then!

Yo, here is a pic of the kit I got from Gum Tree, needs some TLC, but I reckon we'll get there.

Wee tear in the lip...to be expected I guess from a written off car.

Here are some pics I took today of the work in progress, a lot to do me thinks...

Just a couple more days and it should be done...it's like waiting for Christmas morning.

Not sure what this part is called, but the bolts have rusted through and not sure how long this will last as they just crumble when you touch them. Has anybody got this spare part they would like to exchange for some money?

Also, here is a pic with the AEM V2 attached.

That's it for now, apologies for the pic overload.
