Thank for the welcome guys, what a great forum! I went to a Jag Owners Club meeting once and nobody spoke to me so your welcome is much appreciated.

I have not worked out yet how to post a photo, any pointers would be good.

I saw this on ebay, 32,000 miles, bloke was 90 and owned it and garaged it from new so just had to have it. Spent loads of time cleaning an polishing the outside but inside was like new. Actually had 14" wheels with plastic wheel trims so soon ditched them for 17" wolfrace comos. Its a 2.0ltr which is said to be 133ps which seems low as it revs freely and flys along even giving whip lash between 2nd & 3rds. Really like it and so does everyone around me. One problem I have found. There is a small gap in the rear wheel arches which allows dirt and stones to get inside the plastic over cills. Although this car has had little mileage, when I stuck my finger in this gap, the rear part of the over cills were full with mud and stones threatening corrosion. I tried getting the over cill off to clean but that proved impossible. Jet washing was also pointless as there was nowhere for the crap to escape. So in the end I drilled 25mm weepholes at the back of both cills and then jet washed all the crap out. Dare say others have found this and would like to know how they tackled it.
