its not that you sit upright or higher in the 5g its just feels different because of the doorcards and dash/centre console combo

Not meaning to start world war 3, but I have owned a 4g (JDM BB4 2.2 Si Vtec) and my brother had a 5g (JDM BB6 2.2 Vtec). Personal opinion is the 4g looks and has a more sportier feel. Although both are nice cars. Guess its all down to personal preference as my brother preferred his 5th gen at the timemk4vtec-newbie wrote:Any had the please of owning a 4g vtec vs 5g? Just wondered as considered a 5g but just a bit too mature for me. Wouldn't mind a last of the line Montegi one day

Re: Newbie - Mk4 Vtec UKDM - Love it
Ok update:
- full service and all good underneath, went to Honda and the garage where it came from, a lesson learnt - Independents are better
- air con re gas
- various small electrical problems fixed
- new DAB radio with Bluetooth and Ipod - worth almost as much as the car
The wife wanted to visit a National Trust place today, the compromise was that we took the Lude. I have never smiled so much especially above 5000 rpm, I could buy a car for 70K rather than £700 and would not have had as much fun
The future:
- Alloy refurb this week
- Body tidy up
This is the best purchase I have made and I am sure you all know where I am coming from. For me 4g rocks!!!!!
