not really much for the 2.0i

you could try type-s induction kit, along with the h23 intake manifold

bigger exhaust - manifold

If its the daily I would spend all the money on the vtec if I'm honest

I am using it a daily but once I have the Vtec I would be looking at putting money into both so that my partner can take the less powered one to shows as well which is the reason for spending money on its looks and performance, does the manifold need to be a stainless steel or will a standard one do the same job

ok thanks and do you have any suggestions for the induction kit such as a link to a good one or make? or just replace the panel filter with a K&N panel filter?

Make sure the engine always has enough oil and keep the brakes well maintained ;)

If you are planning on modding I would concentrate on the Ludes big plus point, handling. Suspension, strut braces, wheels, tyres, brakes etc... Rather than trying to squeeze out power.

iv just gave the lude a full service and brakes where changed 2000 miles ago and have been fully checked over and all good, just had fresh oil yesterday along with filters, runs abit better than what I got it like on Wednesday but still seems that the weight is too much for the engine to handle with the power it has, I know engine loss BHP over the time of there life which is why im looking at changing afew performance parts just to equal it out but have al ready been looking at front and rear strut braces, also which is best for the lude springs or coil overs? which make is best? what drop is best recommended?, has new tyres all round. but I have would like to get that little bit more of the engine if I can. thanks

Sorry if I seem ungrateful for the help and advice, I am truly grateful, just remembering things as you say them about maintain and that sort of thing, I have also discovered 2 connectors in the boot as I was checking for leaks and have no idea what they could be for or from, can anyone advise what to pin type connectors could be for in the boot of a 2000 x reg 5th gen prelude 2 l sport as this has me completely stumped. will try to get a picture when I finish work tomorrow morning.

One could be there for the spoiler brake light. Would imagine they would be put there regardless of if you have a spoiler or not.

I thought that might be the case but the spoiler is all hooked up and working, could it be the wiring for the in car rear break light?

Yeah will be one or the other, although it should be obvious if it's coming from the parcel shelf light.
