Here is some info on cambelt change on the forum - it has part numbers etc

i have a spare m2b4 gearbox but it has damage to the vss mount so id be interested in the gearbox casing if the internals are fubared

Gates are a good make;

worth getting a new waterpump as well, usually best found from a motor factors instead of ebay as they have a lot of cheap & nastyness on there of these. some people like to swap a new tensioner in there too, depends how far/thorough you want to be

cheers guys...Vanzep i will let you know.i think all the gears are fine.drives and no crunches in everygear.as soon as i can get it on the ramp at work.The mechanics can tell me....Drax i am definately doing the water pump and tensioner.gonna look up them links you both sent me now

The old girl is back on the road.
The gearbox was removed and the problem was staring us right in the face.A bolt from the pressure plate had decided to come loose and wedge itself.luckily no damage to gearbox internals.Just the casing at the bottom about half an inch split near where she bolts up flywheel area.
But as i already bought the u2q7,it would be mad not to fit it.so the u2q7 is in the car with a new blue print accord type r clutch and Hondas finest MTF.I decided to try the looping the lines instead of modding the vss.wow what a difference.i much prefer the steering this way.feels more linear now.
A big thankyou to all who helped.its really appreciated knowing help is out there.
