Yep, but the A8 still has the 11:1 pistons and therefore the same potential, it's just dialled down a bit in it's prelude incarnation.

As is mine ;) :lol:

But IIRC the head is slightly different as the A7 has a mild P&P and of course the ATR intake bolts straight up whereas this is not the case with the Prelude. All quite minor details in the grand scheme of things, inconsequential if you're leaving the bay as is and just going along keeping the engine stock.

No worries :lol: it would probably help if I quoted people to be fair.

Back on topic though:

If it's a 99 it should have the A8 engine, regardless of if it's on an S plate.

My 99 was first registered Jan 16th and has it... if I understand the numbers right it's also engine no. 18 :lol: 8-)

If it turns out to be an H22A5 - they're nowt wrong with that. 8-) A Prelude is a Prelude, whether it's a 2.0 auto or a TypeS, all cracking.
