yeah girls get all the breaks when it comes to insurance...i wonder if one of my sisters could insure my lude and put me as a named driver :?
Well I've just renewed my insurance on the a3 this week - £236 :). Not for long though as I'm shopping for its successor which will not be as cheap to insure!

White wheels are very needy. They are a bugger to keep clean. And once they are stained with the brake dust they deteriorate very quickly.

Just looked at newkid's lude - there's a pic on there of the original wheels going in the same direction as mine...it seems I didn't start the trend after all :(

Remember this want be doing many miles though. I think if not the originals in white, I might have to shop around for something a bit bigger then - perhaps 17s. I'm sure there's lots of suggestions on this forum when I've found my way around!

first of all welcome to the site ;) and i had Pacific blue pearl ukdm and it is one of the best colours :)

but Vanzep please don't try the female insurance route ;) it was changed over a year ago, women get no special rates anymore ;) even shelia's wheels got done for insuring women only (if you notice their new advert  )

it's just ukdm my one i had a quote for 117 quid but looked real bad so went for 174.00 in the end, just insurance companys don't like grey imports

found out as well that keeping car in garage now counts for nought and doesn't matter if your country or innercity ;)
she got this quote just on merit and not because there is any difference between gender or creed :D
good driving history counts for all :P

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm sure you're going to enjoy having a 'lude on the road. Good luck getting it sorted. It's a tidy looking car.

Welcome! 8-)
Nice looking 4th you have.
17's are a popular choice for the lude, mine has them, you can see them in my profile down there:
