This Prelude is worming into my heart though.

They have a habit of doing that Mike. So many people sell for whatever reason and then try and get the same one back or one similar. I walk past mine every morning to get into my V8 Soarer and feel a traitor for not driving it much but my health problems mean I really need the comfort the Lexus brings. Still I do take it for the occasional blast. Jenny is going to drive it most as without going into anymore details I may be out of driving anything for some time shortly. She wont touch the Soarer though so she will have to learn about VTEC or I will be bored out of my skull!

Having a 2.2 vtec I don't know a lot about the 2.3 but isn't that the engine that does not go bang if you turbo it?

No mate you are thinking of the F22. H23 has the same FRM liners as the H22.
