Welcome along to the club. Definitely a nice motor you've got there that's for sure.

As for the lights, it's quite a simple bit of wiring, that only works on '80s Hondas as other manufacturers have one circuit for both lights, whereas Honda had a circuit for each light allowing individual control. When you do it, you can do this

I can PM you the wiring diagram for the Aerodeck system if you like, you may need to check the positive sides in the fuse box and the fuse numbers though as they may differ on a 2nd gen lude.
