JDM lude cams are the same profile as the ATR ones. Crower ones are more agressive again.

TBH you want a smooth switch over, means the power isn't dropping off before vtec kicks in. My vtec switch over is very smooth and the car pushes out 185bhp at 5750rpm with peak at 7450rpm

My EDM prelude had a smooth switch over but the JDM gives a proper kick in the back. Thats what made me think the jap car has different cam profiles, its certainly a lot quicker. Not sure I care about smoothness :D

I know its a french car thing but I'd like to race some other Ludes.

Didn't know how to start a new thread so I just posted it here.

OK, I'm sure with all the JDM Prelude fans on LG there must be someone whose run into this; My new lude has the gentlemanly 112 top speed limiter. Messing about the other day I found a plug on the gearbox that controls it, unfortunately it also controls the electric speedo & by unplugging it the engine won't go into vtec mode...it does however go over 112mph passed the limiter.

Just wondering if anybody knows a way to get rid of the limiter but keep the speedo & engine running properly...for track use only of course. Any info would be greatly received!

You can move that box thing you found on the gearbox and place it behind the speedo.
