Hi Guys, thanks for the welcome. That's alright, I can make up all sorts of BS about what the username means

You need a Photobucket account or similar if you want to store photos, but I believe if you are uploading a few one-offs you can use Tinypic.
You need to copy and paste the [img] code.
I'm sure someone will post a "how-to" in a moment..
