Hi guys,
I've always lusted after a 5th gen Prelude, ever since I was a kid, they look sexy and refined and despite lots of hate the headlights/front end make the car for me.
I'm 20, and I've owned:
Vauxhall Corsa C 1.4/1.8 and 2.0T Conversion
I did want an EP3 Type R, but I know my hearts telling me to find a decent 5th gen. I'm nearly there but my budget will be around £2500. If I get a prelude I plan on spending considerably less and having it as a project, rather than buying an already done car.
Things like suspension over-haul, stage 0 service, belt/water-pump, any paintwork that needs doing will be at the forefront of what I want. I feel if I spend £2500 on a EP3 Type R, work will need doing. I know it will be faster, but I'm kind of done will outright speed, all the engines I've had (Z20LET/Z18XE) have been completely flat and lifeless. I thought owning a 2.0T Corsa with 220 bhp and 1000kg would be fun, but the turbo just promoted laziness, not what I want.
Insurance is ok now, which is why I've waited to make a purchase.
So hi again and you'll be seeing me around!

Too many speed-humps and cafes, aesthetically very pleasing with free un-curbed parking on the high street, all the way from Sydenham station down to where Safeway used to be. There's now a retail park opposite Sainsbury's (Savacentre), which has a drive through Mcdonaldz, you know a lot has changed even in my time!nick_s wrote:Welcome alongHow is my home town nowsadays?
