What engine is that in there? I'm guessing h23a but there seem to be variants and not sure how I would know.

Are the wheels in the pic factory? I like then and will restore them too.

Any other useful info regarding this model is helpful too. I have jumped in with 2 feet and an aware it is 40bhp less than it's 2.2 but Will later down the line look at turbo options - always wanted to just need to use the search button

Congrats on the Lude.
Engine is a H23A from what I can see on the pic, but check the block when you see it as it will be stamped on it.

Did you get that number plate with it? If so sell it and use the money to restore the body work. Don't let the rust ruin a top car!

Yeah licence plate comes with it. You think it's got value then? I just see a normal plate lol.

Lovely info there will check the block. Any idea where I'm looking? It's always been on the cam covers from my past (toyota owner)

That little square bit on the left-hand side, scan across level with the HOT hand thing on the manifold cover.

Yeah it looks like an old personal plate, probably has some value behind it!
