As the title suggests i'm new to the forum been here a couple of times as a guest to get some info for my 5th gen, great help and many thanks to those who have devoted there time to these cars,

now to the situation I took my lude in for an mot only to told the rear passenger lower control arm bush the one which the camber plate bolts through had worn witch I wasn't aware of as now ive got the arm of and have ordered new camber plate bolts from Honda as I had to cut the rusty suckers out, now Im stuck as to were I can get new bushes from ive tried local motor factors who are very good but as with these cars getting parts is a bit of a sod as the year before I had to change the rear lower ball joints which proved fun,

anyway I need the new rear bushing and I know Honda only sell the arm and polybushing is probably the best and cheapest option but I don't really now were to get them from apart from Australia or America.

also is there any were in England or Europe that does them

or does the 4th gen rear lca bushing fit the 5th gen is there any truth in that

any help would be greatly appreciated as im pulling my hair out and the mot 10 day window is running out .ps sorry for the mammoth first post

I think there is a guy on here who can get them for you but they will come from the states I think Vtec direct or maybe Scott@H-tune can get them but there will be a wait I don't think you can get them over here I have just searched powerflex's site although they may be willing to make some or even have some in the right size

might be easier getting a second hand one to get through the mot and doing the polybushing when they arrive

Argh I'm not going into another MOT debate again lol. Yea as merc says. Hopefully you get one that has been removed 'with care' I thought I had one but just looked and nutting. Good luck chap. :)

Yeah, best bet for now would be to buy a second hand arm from someone on here breaking their car, with a bush that's good enough to pass the MOT, then worry about polybushing later.

The whole arm + bushes from Honda is £334!!

Thanks guys that what I thought would be the best bet as the delivery on the parts is such a long time and I need the car back and out of the way really. I have a 4ws I believe its an sh as its got the courtesy lights in the door cards but not sure a the person before the person me put a lot of money into the car so might of changed a lot of things. but ive had it a year and its a lovly car to drive aswell
