New member can't send pm's

Don't seem to be able to send PM's for some reason. Any help would be appreciated

Are they staying in the outbox?? If so they will stay there until the person has opened it, hope this helps mate.

not sure what the rules are here but you sometimes have to show yourself as a valuable member making posts and contributing to the forum before things like PMs are unlocked. I am on another forum which requires you to be a paying menber before you can send PM. Thats is not the way it is here but i am unsure. read the rules and regs and see if there is anythin pertaining to PM sending.

No need to pay or do certain number of posts etc. If that was referring to the pm sent to me an hour or so ago, recieved, read, replied and acted on

Sent a couple in last week and they were sat in outbox so that's sound. Thanks for your help guys.

I guess one was mine. I hadn't read it as I was on my hols. So stuck in the Outbox was right bud.
