Hi to all ,

I'm new to the site .Bought my third Prelude a couple of months ago after a 3 year gap following a crash

Been sporting a silver toyota celica 25th anniversary edition which will be up for sale soon.

Past couple of months I've been sanding , filling , removing rust spots and adding some custom stuff to my lude .
She's a Honda Prelude gen4 2.2 Vtec h22a bb4 200bhp and she ROCKS!!!

I've named her Janey2.2 after her predecessor Janey 2.0 was involved in a freak crash on honeymoon between a cornish country road and 10 seater taxi.Managed to counter steer her out of a sideways skid but the rear end collided with the vehicle on the other side of the road :-( . Sent us into a spin and turned the boot inside out and ripped the bumper off.
When she finally stopped spinning the engine was still purring though  .And thankfully the only casualty was my poor lude . I'll upload some pics into the the appropriate section and post a link once done.

Anyhow ...... Looking forward to finishing the restoration job on Janiy2.2 .Paint is mostly finished but is in desperate need of lacquer once I've ironed out a few more bumps and scrapes.

I'm in North Devon so would be cool to meet up sometime if anyones interested?

Cheers
Mike

Welcome along.
Looking forward to seeing some pictures. Sounds like you already love her to bits before she's at her best.

Quick follow up .Here's some photo's of my old Prelude before she went off to who know's where.I kind hope someone managed to pick her up and fix all the wrecked bits.

Final resting place .I was able to remove my gismo's such as behind visor reversing LCD ,and would you believe it the reversing camera was easily accessible from the bumper on the road haha. Remote engine start unit(Custom build) , Even my rely harness for front DRL's I've since re used the same relay in my new Prelude and the LCD screen is now mounted in the front dash speaker cover.I'll set up a page for Janey2.2 with her progress so you can all see.

R.I.P Janey2.0

 Alex that we a very lucky escape by the looks - a few feet further forward and that could have been a nasty drivers side cave-in...
