hi all, was getting worried there wasn't much of a forum but that was clearly just PUK!
I bought DAN_1979's 5th gen a month or so back, enjoying it so far
It's already got:
D2 Coilovers
Apexi WS2 exhaust
DC Sports 4-2-1 Manifold
ATR Cams and internals (rebuilt head, and all belts and seals done too)
ATR Clutch and lightened XTD fly wheel
Type S air intake
ATR 300mm brake set up - Calipers, Carriers, Bremtech 300mm discs, Ferodo Pads, HEL brake lines
Buddyclub SF P1's (17's)
Front and Rear Upper strut braces
Odyssey 25 Battery
Skunk 2 Gear lever
and a nice CD/USB head unit
So far in my ownership i've fixed the cabin boot release (when the remote boot release went in, the cabin boot release was disconnected, so now i've got them both), put the stock steering wheel back on (splines don't quite match up, think Dan had it aligned on the new wheel, so had to do a little rough alignment myself), fixed the windscreen washer motor which wasn't working (banged it against a wall and it works again!), and fixed my squeaky seatbelt buckle (thought it was a squeaky seat, used to make a noise over every bump, but turns out it was the spring in the buckle squeaking) and installed some silent coat damping mat (2mm) and some kenwood 6.5" component speakers.
next up, i need to work out how to unscrew the tyre valve caps to check the pressures - so far have ripped my fingers about and failed (tho i did manage to rotate one of the valves in the wheel which maybe isn't ideal...). sadly i also need to raise the ride height a cm or so, there's a lot of speed bumps in reading
will get some proper pics soon, so far i just have these from when i bought it...

cheers!
John
