Hi,

I'm just introducing myself, I'm Thomas, and In June this year I bought a Honda Prelude MK V 2.0 (yes I know that the H22 is preferred over the F20A4) with only 39,000 miles and full service history stamped by the same Honda garage since 1999 - 1 lady owner.

I managed to pick this up for only £350.00. I knew that there would be issues with the car seeing as it has low miles for its age. So fast-forward to nearly the end of October and I have replaced the clutch, full brake system and most of the suspension components minus the springs and bushings etc (OEM parts; of course). It passed its MoT a few days ago and now I can finally drive the car. This is my first Honda and I can't express the joy it brings me.

Good times to roll on...

*I really should've read over my post; apologies to anyone who had to read that awful excuse of a sentence.

Welcome to the club Thomas. Regardless of the serviceable parts that's a mighty bargain considering its mileage :D

Get some underseal on it quick smart! ;)

Thanks!

Yeah I will be getting around to that pretty quick style; luckily I have a friend of the family who is in the 'body shop' business. I'll get him to underseal the car as well since he's already going to be taking care of the minor surface rust - I was surprised how little rust and total lack of rot the car has. I'll be sure to maintain it and hopefully have it for years to come.

Well done. I know the feeling of racing to get a car passed for MOT so you can ring it's bloody neck on the B roads.
