Sunroof needed Gen 4

Hi all
I have previously had Gen 2 & 3 models and used to be in Honda Revolutions with my gen 3.
Anyway , have just bought a Gen 4 that needs a little TLC in the body.
Would anyone ha e a non rusty gen 4 sunroof panel ? silver would be nice but any colour OK...
Needs a good seal and no rust around edges ...

Good luck tracking down one of those - good spare 4g sunroof panels are a bit like rocking horse jobby.
You can fit a 5g moonroof as an alternative (a couple of members have done that).

That sound interesting.....
what exactly do you have to swap ?? much modifying or a bolt in option ?

Bolt in option, but you need to space the new frame out slightly against the roof to get the height correct.
There is then a slight issue to overcome with the roof lining (because 5g has sliding sunblind 'cause of glass roof where obviously 4g doesn't) but I'm not sure how that's overcome.
One of the guys that has previously done this mod (e.g. vtecmec) would need to advise there.

There are 2 options.......
Either just swap the exterior panel for a glass one, it may sit a few mm higher than the sunroof, which can be corrected by shimming the sunroof and down if it bothers you.
Or you can go full retard and swap the entire 5th gen frame and panel, this requires removal of the headlining and modification to the frame, but brings along the sunshade slider.
