What happens at mimms in terms of events/format? Unless there is some other event/attraction, a bunch of blokes standing around looking at shiny preludes gets a bit boring (and makes it hard to bring the misses).

rolling road day, track day, meetup at some other motoring event tends to be a better day out in my experience.

I have never actually done a Mimms, of all the car shows I have attended over the years Japfest has been my favourite. Watching the track is cool and there are loads of trade stands and there are so many cars there you can't really get bored. I don't get the people that just get a chair out and sit by their car all day though

Hi and welcome!
As others have said, there are plenty of off the shelf performance stainless exhaust options for Preludes and a good few intake options too.
Type-S oem intake (if you can find one, or already have one) or the AEM v2 intake are generally considered to be the best.

Would be great to see some pics and/or see you at a show with us this year :D
Each of the shows has a slightly different flavour to them tbh.
