Lo :D
I'm surprised finding the correct clutch for a 3rd gen is such a hassle
Cheers ;)

Thanks everyone. I have got the number from the gearbox and that didn't help and the flipping clutch plate didn't have a code on it. I have contacted a company who might be able to match it or (last resort) get one fabricated. Thanks again as I appreciate your help. Helen

Thanks again - I have emailed both the guy with the clutch on ebay and Honda USA The 10mm difference is proving to be a pain in the arse

Where are you measuring the 212 and 215/216mm?

I think I have a used 3rd gen clutch and flywheel on the shelf (ready for manual conversion of my preface 3rd gen at some point) that I can try and measure for you if you like?

OMG wurlycorner, if you could measure that I would be thrilled, thank you. The cover plate is 216mm is the measurement directly across the plate that has been taken off of my car. The clutch I bought which was supposed to be right for the car had a cover plate of 215mm and we can't get it to fit at all. I know it sounds like not a lot but it's a huge difference. I have been forced to send my original clutch cover plate to TechniClutch and they are going to try and match it but website feedback on them is making me very nervous indeed and I am trying to keep my hopes in check :( I really want to get the car back up and running as I want to do a gumball rally in it this year

Thanks again for your help. Any help and advice given is always gratefully received
