Hi Guys
Just picked up a BB4 2.2 yesterday , i regretted selling mine 12 years ago! I purchased my first one in 2002, and absolutely loved it, i had to sell it as i had 4 cars at one point and finances would not allow me to keep it. However 12 years on , i have always been a fan , and purchased a BB4 1994 2.2vtec. its seen better days, but i have purchased it , with the idea to fully restore it. I will be needing advice from you guys on the best route.
Generally it drives well, has 140k on the clock, engine is strong, the previous owner from some reason decided to paint the bonnet and roof! i dont mean spray paint , paint paint.
i am planning on keeping it, and completing the project over a period of years.
i will get the car resprayed in black, just like my first prelude, make sure all the body work is corrected. Engine wise the rocker cover has a slight leak, there is a little bit of water in the boot, i would assume seals need changing. there is a long list of advisories on the MOT which i will correct over time, i expected all these issues when purchasing and for the price i got the car, i cant really complain. I will end up spending a few bob, but so what !!
Thanks
