Hi guys,
I've just re-signed in to my account.
I just brought myself a prelude after 13 years of not owning one.
And yes I only went and tracked down the very one I owned 13 years ago. I bought it off andyjess yesterday, it has also belonged to Jedd and drax I believe.

Here are some photos of it back in my day

Back then it was close to showroom condition, it is now a bit worse for wear. It has bits missing, not working, flat paintwork with scratches/Mark's all over.
A few things that need attention are

Rust on arches asap
Full respray
Full interior needs upholstered
Rear washer doesn't work
Passenger window doesn't work
Front and rear dog legs and cv boots
Digital climate control unit words not lighting up
Digital climate control heat up button needs a hard press to work
Squeaky steering wheel boss
Intermittent horn
Rear boot lining to be sorted
Handbrake tightened
Engine cleaned
Rocker cover repainted.
General today up and service.

I think my plan is to get it back to stock with some subtle mods being

Kept lowered
Lip kit and skirts
Tinted windows
Rocker cover back to wrinkle black (maybe Granada black pearl)
Nice set of alloys to match the eria.

A few photos of it now

Thanks for reading and any thoughts are welcome

Cheers guys.
I decided I wanted another 4th gen lude, so I started searching, ideally i wanted a bb4 and in black. I found 2 i was interested in, one was black on Facebook and one was silver on Ebay, started asking questions and found they they were not what I was after, plus the rust was bad on one.
So I thought I would see if my old car was still MOT'd and taxed, it was so I started looking on here but nothing so I typed the reg into Google and found some pics, that got me 2 previous owners details back, then found 1 more previous owner back because of a conversation on here and then found Andy's pics on Flickr which he used on here and Flickr had his email clearly at the top of his Flickr account. I emailed him and he said I could buy. A week here I am :D

Cool,
More further inspection toady and there has been a load of bodge jobs done to this car.
Got a bit depressed today, everything I touched today either fell off or was loose, the worse thing is I have noticed someone has taken the LSD gearbox off which is what I wanted most.
Got to the point today where I thought I might just scrap it. Manifold has been spot welded twice and is blowing through one of them.

Great news you tracked it down - pity it has declined since you had it but thats not surprising as 13 years is a long time
You will be needing to give it some serious tlc
wherabouts are you?

Im in Brighton,
It needs so much work to bring it back to my standard.
I would need to keep an eye for a cheap doner car me thinks

hope there is someone local off the forum that can help out
a good place to start is with the arches and repair panels are available on ebay at £99/ea and so are sill sections
that and a respray is the expensive/difficult stuff in most cases anything else can be repaired/refurbed or sourced 2nd hand

hang in there :)
