Hi, At the start of the year i was asked if i fancied doing nurburgring trip with some friends for a stag do in 2020, the catch being we all had to buy vehicles that cost no more than £1000.

Within a few months i found this 5th generation prelude 2000 sport. 2.0 automatic.

Since owning it ive replaced the brakes all round and a oxygen sensor.

It drives very nice and has been reliable so far. Any thoughts on what else would be a good idea to check/replace?

Thanks

First thing on my list would be to change the god awful front brakes.

The 2.0 unfortunately runs 262mm on the front. You should be able to pick up the larger 282mm calipers/carriers fairly cheaply.

Then swap the disc an pads to those of the 2.2vtec 5th gen.

The backing plates can either be swapped or slightly modified to use the existing ones.
