New member, first prelude

Hi I'm Dan from Manchester. I've already got a honda 8gen accord type s tourer as my daily, a civic aerodeck that's boosted and now I've gone and bought a 3gen prelude. It's in abit of a sorry state and needs some love.

I'm hoping someone on here could advise me where I could get some repair panels for a 3rd gen prelude?

I was going to upload some photos but it's been a while since I've used forums and tiny pic and photo bucket dont seem to be working.

Hi mate there was a guy breaking a 3 gen in Birmingham on ebay wings bumpers etc we have meets in the north West so hope you can make one we have 4 an 5 gen but not a 3td gen be nice to see one at a meet

Dont think itll be on the road anytime soon. I've just bought a house and need to spend the money on that really. Need to see if the parts are easy enough to get before I decide what to do really

No worries cars an houses both money pits keep your eye out for a meet come along in your other car it may inspire you looking around other preludes

another 3g owner, nice

best idea is to create a thread for working on your lude under Lude profiles section, post up pics of the car, plans etc then anything you need post in the Wanted section

when you say repair panels, do you mean something like replacement rear arches? as i'd have to have a look if anyone makes 3g ones. panels for the rest of the car you best getting from a breaker

Welcome to LG - there are aftermarket repair panels for the sills and arches for 4th and 5th gens - i dont remember seeing any for the 3rd - you could always contact a seller of the 4th and 5th gens ones and ask them...
well presented 3rd gens go for decent money these days so well worth the effort in restoring one where possible

I did try one place and he doesnt do them. I think itll be a custom jobbie. That would make it even more expensive to do!

Will have to get some quotes and see how bad it is.
