Today this little gem fell in my mailbox! Sławomir designed a new replacement PSU module for the DSP and was kind enough to sell me one :)

And installed the module.

Epic, now for the first time my DSP plays sound. Altough it's still a little wonky, may need to replace a few more caps. 8) 8)

Were you able to repair your DSP set?

I fitted the new dsp power supply - everything lights up and works but still no sound.
How are you progressing with your dsp set up?

Can you power on and off the radio really fast using the power button on the radio for 6 times in a row and the 7th time keep it on, do you have sound?

My radio won't do audio if it had no power for some time (same goes for DSP/EQ functions are not responding). Then When I power the radio and turn it on and off very fast then after 4 or 5 times I get audio and DSP/EQ functions work, perhaps there are still a few electrolytics that need to be replaced.

Tried the rapid on/off still nothing.
No sound from tape/radio or cd.
I can hear a hiss from the speakers when volume is turned up so presume the amplifier is working... :?
I have only replaced the dsp power supply and nothing else but everything looks ok so difficult to know what to look at next
All functions of the radio and dsp unit seem to lighting up and working but like i say no sound.

Can you measure the voltage between -7.5 and +7.5 on the module when the radio is on?

* I've resoldered the caps and transistors above the metal can right of the two large cables going the chassis
* I've replaced 6 caps above the new psu board
