Hi all,

This is the first time I've posted to a forum but upon the recommendation of another Lude Generation member, I've decided to share my youtube video of a recent K-swap project that I got up and running.

I haven't uploaded a running video yet because open headers are not a neighbours best friend but hopefully I should be driving and tuning in the next few months.

If you're interested and would like to ask questions, I'm more than happy to answer.

Also please no hate, not very good with the ol' videography and presenting stuff, but I'm happy to take any advice as I suspect I may need to make some more videos in the future.

Hi and welcome!
Great to see a different style lude on here.

So jealous of you having the Haltech goodness.. Would love one for mine but they're damn expensive in the UK, unfortunately!

They're expensive in Australia as well :( but definitely worth it, it started on the first try, I was genuinely shocked me

Mighty car mods, haltec elite, Prelude, auzzie....all win
Get tuning fork on the case.

That k20 sits quite far forward compared to the leant back h22. Wonder what the handling is like after it's all finished.

So that's hasport engine mounts with a 4th gen prelude passenger mount.

I'm keen to see how it goes as well! Lot better weight balance from front to back, so I hope that is enough to make it feel good. Also Mighty Car Mods have definitely been a huge inspiration, if tuning fork wants to hang out and tune this for me, i would not complain!

I was originally going to make mounts for it, but my time became increasingly more valuable, with university and other commitments.

Really impressed with how well the engine mounts worked out - nice and clean and simple.

Looks so odd with all the space round the back of the engine! :D

Can't remember if you mentioned on the video or not... What gearbox did you use?

Is there any option for a different sump that's less deep?

So much room in the back for a spooly boi 😉

The gearbox is an ASU5 from a CL9 accord euro/TSX. There's a list of gearboxes that work with the BBK1 mounts on the HASport page.

The only option I know of for a shallower sump is a dry sump system, this is what a lot of people use in rwd swaps. Going into the future, i will be making a bottom brace to protect the sump.
