I tthink the issue may be the fact it's 92 to 01. I'm fairly sure they changed between 4th and 5th generation preludes.

i thought it was a easy question is the track rod end in the listing right or left i have no idea about gen 4 and 5 start and finishing,its just that i have sold dozens of these and now i have a problem with a customer,thanks john

Had a dig. That appears to be a lh track rod end for a 97-01 5th generation Prelude. The 92-96 4th generation prelude lh track rod end looks like:

thanks mate,so basically i have the wrong date on the listing and its a 5th gen rod end,thanks again john

just noticed another post and it says the gen 4 and 5 are interchangable is this correct,if so my parts are stamped with the wrong letters L instead of R,thanks for all your help in advance john

I'll check the honda parts catalogue later man. See what it says. Confusing stuff! :lol:

Don't suppose they have part numbers on them? 4th gen lh track rod end is def 53560-SS0-003 if that helps.

just picture it upside down and you will see it is the same as this 1 above, and different to the 1 you are enquiring about

hello mate yes i have seen this,its just the gen 4 and 5 interchangable i need now,honda part numbers don't mean that much ,if there like nissan ones they use a few different numbers for the same part just because it fits a different model and sometimes its a different part number because its 1-2mm longer/shorter which makes no difference at all because its going to be tracked anyway,many thanks john
