Hello, long time lurker here who thought I should make my first post. I use the forum for fixes etc from time to time and as I don't do Facebook thought I should start contributing something. I'm Tim from Essex, I couldn't think of a snappy user name.

I've owned my BB4 since 2019, was my daily driver but as I mostly work from home now I would call it my go-to car. Came from a nice guy on the South Coast who had given it a lot of love.

I also have a BB3 in storage for parts.

always glad to see a new 4G owner! what is the spec of her, im guessing a 2.2vtec UKDM? what are your plans for her?

Pre-facelift, like me then. I didn't know the 4th Gens had a facelift.

This is a JDM H22A manual, spec is pretty much standard. No real plans other than driving it as often as possible. Paint and arches are suffering so maybe heading for a freshen up next winter, I have another project on the go (not Honda). There are a lot of annoying bits and pieces that are missing or broken which is why I bought the spares car, it came up a bit sooner than I needed but sometimes you just have to go for it.

good plan to buy another for spares. if its an import, someone has swapped the headlights at some point as they are a two piece set, whereas jdm headlights are all one piece - thats what confused me.

any more pics of the engine and interior available?

Like you, I'm from Essex and also don't use facebook (the two are not related )
I'm a chronic case, having 3x 4g, 2x 3g and 1x 1g.
Where abouts in Essex are you? I'm in Chelmsford.

Ah right, yes the previous owner put new headlights and the clear indicators on it along with some other bits. I don't know if he did that because they were needed but I like to think so. No engine or interior photos to hand but I'll put some up later.

I'm not too far from you Wurlycorner, just outside Dunmow. I have a friend on the Channels development so come over your way every now and then. That's quite an addiction you've got there maybe you'll let me take a look sometime.
