Lude Generation

Hello all!
New to the lude life and have just purchased a 5th gen from one very careful elderly gentleman. He’s put 70k on the clock in 23 years so I’m hoping not to have too many surprises when I get to work on swapping bits out but I’m remaining open minded until I get underneath her

I’m after a lip kit and skirts if anyone can point me in someone’s direction?
I’ve reached out to some breaking on eBay but no response as of yet
I never seem to have issues buying parts for my DC5 but I seem to have underestimated how rare these cars are nowadays.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forum.

It's hard to get through on eBay messages, most will get blocked if there is any mention of completing a sale outside of eBay or exchanging phone numbers.

Optional parts are harder to get hold of. I sent my spare 5th gen lip kit to Bulgaria. All I can say is to check eBay everyday, and as soon as you see something, you just have to pounce. It's a pain in the arse but it's the only way to get those kind of parts.

Even sellers just selling one car might have multiple or spare parts not yet listed. It's hard work but after a few years you might just get what you need.

Hopefully someone on here has a spare set for you.

Regarding DC5, the price of those never went low enough to be completely destroyed. 10 years ago preludes were 10 a penny and very cheap hence not many left now and the prices are going up. Plus there is so much aftermarket dc5 items because of its track ability and generally just bigger market being a type R.

Scott has kind of covered it really - lots already broken so slimmer pickings these days.
Not sure if @honda-hardy still has the lip kits from his that he broke recently???

I have a set made of glass fibre. Set is in good condition and fits very well, you won't see difference when is on the car. I'm looking for £300 If you're interested I can do more pics with my nick and date

Thanks for this! Really wished I’d seen it sooner…I’ve just paid £400 for a motegi set of lips/skirts …Damn!

I got Type s intake (with resonator), big brake kit with almost new Black Diamond discs (ATR two piston calipers, 300mm discs), got brand new lowering springs, angel eyes headlights, chrome cluster rings.... I think that's it
