Hello everyone
Had a prelude since summer 2011, but it's been off the road since the end of 2011. Having vtec withdrawal symptoms so thought I'd join up here for some inspiration to get it back on the road.

Welcome aboard
Does it need any work to get it back on the road? If not it should be on the road already!

Thanks!
Here's a pic. Some bits of lighting missing for the observant people amongst the forum! I bought it for the PPC £999 challenge in 2011 and having been messed around by my friend who was going to take it on after the event, I've ended up putting it back together myself....very slowly!

I'm hoping just a set of wiper blades. However, I do have am electrical fault (suspect dodgy earth) where the indicators and drivers headlight are behaving strangely. Feeling very motivated by an insurance quote of only £140 for the year, and every time I start it up I just want to get back out on the country lanes and play with the vtec.

Bought it for £700 and it had 6 months tax and a bit of MOT (but it flew through an MOT before the challenge). Oh, and apparently it has a superchip too ( or perhaps just the receipt for one

)
Up until the last few years its got a complete Honda main dealer history with a huge file of receipts. Someone has really spent money on it as an enthusiast - things like getting new number plates from the original Honda dealer and genuine Honda battery etc.
The picture probably makes it look better than it does in real life - wheels are a bit scruffy but I can't decide whether to refurb or upgrade. And it's been attacked by a few shopping trolleys along the doors (no broken paint so dent man should be able to solve those). Minimal surface rust on the rear arches and sunroof too - should get that tidied up too really, but it's not too bad for a uk car. It was picked for performance rather than bodywork at the time, but if I hang on to it then I'll probably get it tidied up a bit.

That's only cause you can't see the drivers side
Seriously though, it's got a couple of bubbles but its hardly crumbling off in chunks like some I've seen. I do think the sill covers and arch rubber trims trap water though.
