Interior trim

just got myself a new lude, redtop this time, but its got the horrible mahogany trim, witch i HATE, any1 kniow were i can but replacement parts? preferably the carbon fibre look 1ns. cheers.

You have to keep your eye open, they do come up for sale. Or check US forums.

If you're brave, you can make with the vinyl. Been some big discussions on here about which stuff looks the most realistic if you have a search around.

if you do paint them, make sure you degrease and degrease again

alot of people spray interior spray on these, if you paint could end up being disaster like mine once :lol:

I painted trim ages ago in my civic, and used the Foliatec stuff.

It's good stuff, but only if you use all the stages (cleaner, primer, colour, clearcoat) which means it doesn't workout all that cheap, but its quite resistant to scratches etc.

I just went over mine with some 1500 wet/dry and sprayed with some matt stuff I got from a DIY shop. Cost me a fiver basically, came out bless.

Indeed I am, I've been a little (very) slow recently though and there is actually a bit of a waiting list :?

I'll start up a new thread for the interior later in the week as I'm hoping to have some free time to get through it soon :)
