Unless I'm being a total spack it's:
Take centre console out, turn it upside down, undo every screw until it comes off. IIRC there are 4 screws that fix the gaiter bit to the gear surround. Actual gaiter is just stapled to the plastic ring thing I think. Terrible description TBH but once you get the console out it will make sense.

all sorted. 45 mins,
ill do a "how to" for the wiki when i get in from work. mmmm. nice red stitch boot and razo knob. nice. pics to follow.
