I was just wondering if accord seats would be a straight swap into a mk5 prelude advise please

No. But Which accord do you mean? None will fit directly.

I can understand wanting to fit type r recaros but standard accord seats dont offer anything else over prelude seats, Maybe bigger but I find then too big compared to the Preludes.
