Hey all,
Looking for opinions on this one.
I picked up a nice 2.2v in a nice cherry red for a steal as it was a non-runner.
After getting back home I discovered it had no spark. Swapped out the distributor for another known working one I had and it fired straight up
Anyways, I have given it a full valet and repaired a couple of areas that needed some TLC.
My question is ive restored this car and intend on selling it on to someone who is looking for a nice well looked after Prelude with full HONDA DEALERSHIP service history, new cambelt etc etc however, it currently has the original cream interior which in my opinion is nasty and shows every mark going. I have a spare full set of black velour interior including the carpet, dash etc.
I was thinking of swapping out the front and rear seats for the black set as there in good condition, but would others prefer this or would it detract from the car being original?
Let me know what you think peoples as ill be getting rid of one set of interior this weekend! Some pics below:
(ALSO I WILL BE POSTING A THREAD IN CARS FOR SALE SECTION BUT IF YOUR INTERESTED IN THIS LITTLE BEAUTY LET ME KNOW)
CREAM OR BLACK, What would you prefer?
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

i agree with @nitin_s1 post the ad up as it is and because it has a full dealer service history keeping the car original may have better value?
You can also mention in your ad that you can have the complete interior swapped out to a black one at extra cost after payment for the car has been received, or a non refundable deposit of at least 50% of the sale price of the car is left.
That way the buyer is serious and you don't waste your time ripping the car apart to find out buyer flaked LOL.....
