S2000 seats

Post by Slosh2222 » Tue Aug 29, 2017 11:28 pm

Out of interest who has s2000 seats ? As I have @ju5ta5 old car and although he did a cracking job fitting the Seats so that they tilt and slide etc being 6foot two I find that they sit to high for me ,
My legs touch the bottom of the steering wheel (even tho I have fitted the smaller ep3 type r wheel) and my head feels like it's hinging out the sunroof when it's open

And I am unsure why as everyone else tends to say that s2000 seats sit lower than oem ones ? Maybe it's the rails or something but I guess I will need to have a proper look at the weekend and see what my options are , maybe they might be on s2000 rails and not 5th gen ones ? :?

Using the 5th Gen seat base they sit to high as the foam isn't moulded to the seat pan.
Using the s2000 base it's sits lower but you needs to make a bracket for one side on each seat.

I DO!

Using s2000 seat base, and welded the 5th gen mounts to the s2k rails.

I'm 5'6 and these seats sit much lower than oem prelude seats and sometimes the blind spots on the A Pillar are hard to see around so i have to sit up a bit.
