CEL Code connectors missing?

Post by Bio » Sat Jun 23, 2012 10:47 am

Got a bit of a random one.
I decided I'd try and troubleshoot my 4WS as it's not worked for 2 years. It doesn't really bother me that it doesn't work, but I'd like to know WHY it doesn't work.
The bulb had been removed from the dash (I knew when I bought it, the guy was honest and up-front) so I removed the instrument cluster and swapped the bulb over from a working panel part (ABS) to check it all out.

I've gone to fish out the CEL connector thingy however it's not under either of the central panel plates on the drivers or passengers side as per information from Google.
The question is, where on earth is it on the 5th gen?
I also cant locate my OBD2 connector (physically not there) which should apparently be in the same place?

Hopefully someone can tell me that I'm being an idiot and looking in the wrong place, but looking at the connectors (not my pic)

The only one I have is that large blue one. There are no others :S
Unless that pic is 4th gen specific?

::EDIT:: OK, found it. On the 5th gen its part of the large blue connector and I have to disconnect the top one *sigh*
At least I know my codes are 21 and 74 now though.
Looks like I have a sensor to find a replacement for and fit!
