Hi Folks,

Just wanted to quickly double check that the Honda Access floor mats are machine washable? I seem to remember being told they were but I just want to double check before I turn the washing machine on :)

Cheers,
Josh

I've put mine through the wash a couple of times. :o
The only downside is that the edges start to fray a little.

Don't put them all in at once. I did it in two washes, one front and one back at a time. :geek:

I've put two sets of mats in now (all 4 at once ;-) ). Worked a treat. I do have a large drum though :P

Cheers guys :) I've stuffed all 4 in but it's pretty cramped... Might take 2 out as my girlfriend would go ape jobby if I broke the washing machine

Make sure they are in the drum evenly. An uneven load will shake the house down.
Put them on at 40º with a slow spin cycle. Add some fabric conditioner to make them smell nice. :P

I didn't think about the spin cycle... That'll be nice and loud in an hour's time  I did smell the different washing stuff to decide what I wanted my car to smell like

And if you use bio detergent wash at 30degreesC to get the best out of the enzymes.
